4.5 stars!!!

I'm a huge fan of Probst's 'Marriage to a Billionaire' series, so when I had the opportunity to read the first book in her new series, Everywhere and Every Way, I jumped right on it! I'm glad I did!  Although this is a different premise than her other Billionaire series, it has the same fun, sweet, and sexy vibe I associate with her books. I enjoyed this one lots and I'm looking forward to continuing the series! Bring on more Pierce Brothers!!!

What was my favorite thing about this book? The banter and sexual tension between Morgan and Caleb! Holy hotness! Caleb is totally alpha and Morgan is a sweet southern lady, but also a feisty heroine- my favorite combination! I love couples that have that heat, but also can have fun together. Caleb and Morgan had that 'spark' from the start and it only grew the more time they spent with one another. Even though they  fought and bickered some, I could feel their feelings grow.

I loved the start to this series. If you're looking for a fun, fast and steamy read- this is one I highly recommend! I give it 4.5 stars!

Prime Minister by Ainsley Booth and Sadie Haller - 5 STARS!!!

Prime Minister
by Ainsley Booth and Sadie Haller

Ellie Montague is smart, sensitive, and so gorgeous it hurts to look at her. She’s also an intern in my office. The office of the Prime Minister of Canada.*
That’s me. The PM.
She calls me that because when she calls me Sir, I get hard and she gets flustered, and as long as she’s my intern, I can’t twist my hands in her strawberry-blonde hair and show her what else I’d like her to do with that pretty pink mouth.**

How much I like the PM varies on a daily basis. He’s intense, controlling, and a perfectionist in every way—and he demands the same of his staff.
How much I want him never wavers.
There’s something about him that tugs at me deep inside, and makes me wish that just once he’d cross the line in a late night work session. I’d take that secret to the grave if it meant I got a taste of the barely restrained beast inside him.***
* This is a fictional erotic romance. No prime ministers or interns were harmed in the making of this book.
** Except it’s a BDSM romance, so they were hurt a little.
*** Spoiler alert: she gets more than a taste. And she likes it.

Bella's Review: 5 STARS!!!

Hottest book ever. Seriously. Like cocaine. I was so addicted I could barely stop reading to deal with real life.

I have read Ainsley Booth before, but Sadie Haller is new to me. I'm always so impressed when authors collaborate on a story and pull it off in such a seamless fashion. These two ladies did a great job writing Prime Minister.

Prime Minister is about Gavin and Ellie. Gavin is Canada's new Prime Minister. He's 39 years old, handsome, smart and sexy and all women and gay men alike have a crush on him. He's trying to put together the pieces of a broken government and he is good for the people. One thing most of the people of Canada don't know about their new leader... he's kinky. He's into dominance and submission, pushing women's boundaries and delivering pleasure. Yeah. He's pretty perfect. But this does pose a problem for Gavin. He's separated that part of his life since he's become prime minister. You can't exactly go to a sex club when you're the prime minister. So he has gone without satisfying that part of himself. And it hasn't really been a problem.... until he meets Ellie.

Ellie accepted an internship working with the Prime Minister's chief of staff. She's smart, academic and like the rest of the female population, she has a massive crush on the prime minister. Or PM. She thinks she feels a connection to him, but you can't exactly hit on the prime minister when you're working as an intern in his office. Or can you?

What I loved about this book:
~ The writing. Ainsley Booth and Sadie Haller sunk their claws into me with this deliciously sexy, forbidden, kinky story that turned into such a sweet romance. I couldn't think about anything else while reading the story. Food - who needs to eat? We have a sitter and date night planned - do we have to go out? Sleep - silly bodily function. This story CONSUMED me.
~ Gavin. Man what an awesome hero. He's the ruler of a country. Powerful, intelligent, confidant. But he's also human too. And that human side of him likes things kinky in the bedroom. I loved how attentive he was to Ellie. I loved how perverted he was, too!!
~ Ellie.  Loved her POV. Just a regular woman, excited with the opportunity to work in the prime minister's office. But she's human too. And her body can't help but respond to Gavin when they're in close proximity.
~ The magnetism. These two try to fight it. It's scandal worthy and the last thing either of them wants is a scandal. But they just can't stay away from each other. That pull. I love it when they finally decide to just give in already. The chemistry is off the charts. I don't know if I can find the words to describe how hot these two are together.
~ Forbidden. When they start up they keep it a secret. Nothing gets my blood boiling like a forbidden romance. The sneaking around, the frantic need, the absolute desperation to touch each other. Hot. It's so unbelievably hot.

~ The sweet. Yes, Gavin is intense and powerful and dominant. But he falls for Ellie and he's so sweet, too. Sigh. I love it when he becomes vulnerable to Ellie. I'm an absolute sucker for a strong man that becomes vulnerable to a woman.

What I didn't like: not one thing. This book was absolute perfection. PERFECTION. This is why I like to read.

Bottom line: READ THIS BOOK RIGHT NOW. Drop everything!!! One Click. I'm so excited to learn that there will be more to come in this series. And I will drop everything to read about Max, Lachlan and Tate. BRING IT, ladies. You write, I'll read. I'm SO excited about this series.

4 stars!

At The Edge was a fantastic read! With 256 pages, it was jam packed with suspense, drama and romance! This romantic suspense was just what I needed.

Emma's plane crashes and she is the only survivor. The team of SEALS who come rescue her of course are all hot alpha males. The best type, especially Ryan, the one who finds her. He is really impressed with her survival instinct. And he finds her really attractive!

Once they make it back home, Emma just can't let it go and starts to investigate the plane crash. Which somebody doesn't like. She looks up Ryan and he isn't too friendly with her.

But fate pushed them together and they are forced to spend the night together. And WHEW! It's scorching between these two!! Just when things were building up....BAM we were left hanging. Good thing the next book is already out! I'm going in!!

The scorching-hot romance between Emma and Ryan that began in At the Edge: Alpha Crew Part One concludes in Part Two of this sexy, suspenseful adventure!

Ryan had one job: keep Emma safe at all costs. But after a night of passion, Emma takes off and Ryan soon realizes he’s not the only one looking for her. Can he figure out who’s after the beautiful government aide, and why, before she falls into the wrong hands… if she hasn’t already?

Emma’s fighting to get justice for her fallen comrades, but she can’t do it alone. She needs Ryan’s help, but that means trusting him--and dealing with the out-of-control desire blazing between them. Can there be any future for a marked woman and a man trained to kill? She hopes they live long enough to find out…

Don’t get spoiled! Be sure to read At the Edge: Alpha Crew Part One before devouring this sizzling romance!

What an amazing finish to this heart racing story!

Edge of Surrender picks up where At The Edge left off, with Emma missing. And Ryan doing anything he can think of to find her. We get a little more of Jake in this one. I'll be looking for his book now! Hopefully with Alexa!!

The action is off the charts heart stopping! I was sitting on the edge of my seat while reading it! There were also some pretty hot scenes with Ryan and Emma!

Laura has a great start to a series here! I'm very excited to see where she goes in the future with different characters! I need more Alpha Crew!!!

Justin made his way toward his… brother and Landon gave him a quick nod.

“Is this as weird for you as it is for me?” Landon asked.

Justin exhaled. “Yes. Christ. I didn’t expect it to be.” Which didn’t make sense. Of course it would be strange. They were a mismatched family, celebrating his father’s birthday when the man looked like he would pass out at any second.

“What? How could you not expect this to be uncomfortable? Hell, I’m just Landon’s boyfriend and it’s even awkward for me,” Rod said, and Justin glanced up to see Landon lovingly roll his eyes, before he wrapped an arm around Rod’s shoulders and pulled him close. Rod was smaller than Landon. He wore black eyeliner that made his eyes stand out.

“Please, don’t hold back for us,” Landon replied.

“I wouldn’t think of it,” was Rod’s response, but Justin thought he knew what Rod was doing. He wanted to make Landon laugh, wanted to take the edge off, and he found himself grateful that Landon hadn’t let the fact that Rod found out about Justin and his dad before Landon did come between them. They were a strong couple. You could see the love between them.

The three of them chatted for a few minutes before Rod excused himself for the restroom.

“I should probably go talk to him.” Landon crossed his arms and leaned against the wall. There was no doubt in Justin’s mind whom he was speaking about.

“I know he’d like that. I get that it’s hard, though.”

Landon turned his way. “What do I say? Jesus, it’s really shitty that I don’t know how to talk to my own dad.”

Anger burned through Justin’s insides. He was angry at their dad for putting them all in this situation. How hard would it have been to tell Justin and his mom about Shanen and Landon? To be a father to them, too? He bit back the anger and said, “Hi. Happy Birthday. Anything will do.”

Landon didn’t move, though. He eyed their father on the other side of the room. Justin followed his stare, which is how he saw the man walk in. But not just any man. Drew. The guy he met in a club the night Shanen got married. His brows pulled together. What in the hell was he doing here? Because this wasn’t awkward enough without the guy he wanted to fuck obviously knowing Shanen.

“Ah, hell. I think I jerked off in a club with the guy who just walked in.”

“What?” Landon’s voice actually cracked on the word. He looked from Justin, to Drew, and back to Justin again. His gut sank, and he was pretty sure he should have kept his mouth shut because this was about to get a whole lot worse. “That’s Shanen’s brother-in-law. He’s Jacob’s brother, and I’m pretty sure Shanen would have told me if he wasn’t straight. I know he’s not close with Jacob, but she would have thought it was coincidence enough if she married a man with a gay or bisexual brother.”

Oh fuck. Damn it all to hell.

Justin tried to hide his shock. He looked at Drew again, studied him—the scruff on his face, that jaw and those fucking lips—of course it was really who he thought it was. Still, he said the first lie that popped into his head. “Shit. That’s not him. Hair’s not right and I’d remember that mouth anywhere.” Which was true. It was the first thing he’d noticed.

Wasn’t this just perfect? He’d come here to get to know his family, and out of all the men in Virginia, he’d somehow ended up jacking off with his sister’s husband’s brother, who was obviously in the closet.

The brother of the year award definitely wasn’t going to him. Landon eyed him, skepticism in his eyes. Before he could say anything, Rod stepped back up and wrapped his arms around Landon.

“What did I miss?”

Bella's Review: 5 STARS!!
I LOVE this book so hard!!!

Test Drive is the third book in the Crossroads series by Riley Hart. The books are all so different from each other, but I love that about this series.

What I love about this book:
~The writing. Seriously. Riley Hart makes it so easy for me to get sucked into the story and I'm immediately invested in the characters.
~ Alternating POV - my favorite way to read romance.
~ The characters. Justin. Sigh. I really feel for Justin. His father is in late states of cancer, he has just learned that he has a brother and sister and that his father has been keeping this secret for his whole life. But regardless of how angry he is at his father, he puts that aside, puts his schooling and ENTIRE life on hold to be with his father in his last days alive. GAH. How selfless. He's just such a great guy.
And Drew. I really feel for him too. Although he is not dealing with a dying parent and a discovery of a secret family, he is also struggling to be accepted by his own family.
~ Self discovery. Drew has always known he was bisexual.... he's just never really acted on it. But he wants to explore that side of himself. I love this sense of self discovery. The journey to finding out who you really are and embracing yourself. Coming to terms with what makes you happy and being proud.
~ Chemistry. Holy effing hotness. That opening scene in the club - seriously. My eyeballs were popping out of my head. I didn't want to even BLINK to miss one second of what what happening. Drew and Justin have seriously hot chemistry and I loved watching the sparks fly!!!
~ The feels. This book really made me feel so much emotion. Lust. Anger. Betrayal. Love. Familial acceptance. Friendship. Sadness. Gah. There were parts where I had a huge lump in my throat and parts where my stomach dipped and parts where I needed a change of panties. I love every minute of this book.

What I didn't like: not a thing.

Bottom line: READ THIS BOOK!!! It can be read as a standalone, but we do get to see all the couples from the previous books. Besides, Crossroads and Shifting Gears were both amazing, so you don't want to miss out on those.

Thank you, Riley, for your words. You keep writing, I'll keep reading!! This is a drop everything author for me!!!
Riley Hart is the girl who wears her heart on her sleeve. She’s a hopeless romantic, a lover of sexy stories, passionate men, and writing about all the trouble they can get into together.
She loves reading, flawed characters, and hanging out with her husband and children, who she adores. She and her family live in Southern California, soaking up the sunshine, while also missing seasons. Not a day goes by that she isn’t thankful she gets to wake up and do what she loves.
Life is good. Riley also writes young adult and new adult under the name Nyrae Dawn.

What do you do when the one you least expect to matter…

Ends up mattering the most?

Derek Pearson likes to think he’s an easygoing guy. Uncomplicated, upfront, and unapologetic with what he wants. His what you see is what you get attitude is on prominent display for anyone who cares to look, and his foul mouth is right there to back it up should you miss the point.

However, what you see isn’t always what you get, and only a select few have ever glimpsed the real man under the brash exterior.

Among them? Professor Jordan Devaney. Complicated, high-maintenance, and vibrant, he’s Derek’s opposite in every way. From the moment they saw each other, a love-hate relationship began.

But what happens when one person wants more?

Present Day
DEREK PEARSON PUSHED open the door of Leighton, Finley & Associates, and stepped out on the paved sidewalk. It was the first day of August, and if the sweltering Floridian sun was any indication, today was going to be hotter than hell’s waiting room.

As he strolled toward the curb, he pulled a pack of Marlboros from the pocket of his shorts and flipped open the top. He needed a fucking cigarette after watching Daniel Finley and his damn professor get all sappy and shit. That was gonna get old real quick if he had to stomach their nauseating displays of I love yous longer than the fifteen minutes he’d been in there. But he’d known he had to make an appearance sooner or later; otherwise Danny boy would’ve shown up asking questions. Questions he wasn’t ready to answer.

There’d been a reason he hadn’t come around to see Finn when he first moved back from Chicago two months ago, but it wasn’t something he was in the mood to talk about yet, even if he was one of the two people on the planet who would get all the shit he’d been dealing with.

Yeah… He just wasn’t ready to go there.

With a smoke between his lips, he lit up, then shoved the pack back in his shorts. He was so damn antsy lately, and for that he could thank his brother, Alan.

He walked around to the side of his Jeep and pulled open the door. After climbing inside, he grabbed his cell phone and stared at the dark screen, contemplating his next move.

Am I really planning to do this?

Fuck, it seemed that he was, even when he knew better.

If he did this, it would be nothing more than a Band-Aid over the real problem. A shot to numb the more painful issues he was dealing with right now. He would be slipping back into a pattern he had pulled himself out of. An addiction he’d broken free from. But he was also aware that if he didn’t do it, the alternative would be to spiral out of control, and solitude was no longer helping his fucked-up nerves.

He brought the phone to his ear and waited. The phone rang and rang, and fucking rang, until he was close to hanging up—and then it connected.

“You free?” were the only two words out of his mouth. He waited, not caring to pursue small talk. That wasn’t what this was about. All he cared about in that moment was getting what he needed.

When an affirmative came through the phone, he hung up, tossed it on the dashboard, and brought the Jeep to life. As he sped across town, he white-knuckled the steering wheel and didn’t allow himself to think about the consequences of what he was about to do.

It took him less than ten minutes to pull into the underground parking garage of The Palisades and take the elevator up to where his drug of choice waited for him. He glanced up into the camera in the corner of his metallic confines and stared boldly into the face of the one who was waiting at the other end of this ride.

Yeah, he was about to fall off the fucking wagon big time. Was about to slide back into the one place he promised himself he wouldn’t go again. Yet as the elevator came to a halt and the doors opened, there was no denying this was exactly what he wanted.

“I have thirty minutes,” were the words that greeted him.

Derek walked off the elevator and over to the naked man waiting for him. He took the haughty chin between his thumb and forefinger and promised in a voice thick with arousal, “I only need ten. Take me to your room, Jordan. Time’s a wasting.”
Bella's Review: 4.5 Stars
I LOVE Ella Frank's writing. Her Temptation series is one of my all time favorite M/M series. Logan and Tate hold a special place in my heart.

Finley - the first book in the Sunset Cove series, missed the mark a bit for me. The timeline - flashbacks from 7 years previous to present tense - made it difficult for me to understand the connection between Brantley and Finn. It felt a bit disjointed and left me wondering why Finn would just leave his home for 7 ENTIRE years and just come home when Brantley beckoned him to come home.

Devil's Kiss overlaps with the events in Finley. However, I really enjoyed the timeline in this book so much better. Ella Frank puts us right in the frying pan with the opening scene - but then, she starts at the beginning. And follows through until we get to present day. I enjoyed this book so much more.

Things I loved about this book.
~ The writing. Ella Frank can write sexual tension like no other. I mean. WHEW. I was just DYING for Derek and Jordan to finally get together.
~ Teacher/student.... It starts with Derek in one of Jordan's classes - and that whole forbidden aspect just gets my blood boiling.
~ Derek. Derek is muscular, tattooed and brooding. His father has been abusive towards him since his mother left at the age of 12, taking out his aggression on Derek with insults and with his fists. When he discovered Derek was gay, he made no secret of how much that disgusted him. Derek's brother Alan was no source of solace. And other than his best friend, Finn, Derek really had no one. I just wanted to jump into the book and hug him and protect him. Gah. Derek just pulled at my heart.
~ Jordan. He is bold, flamboyant, arrogant and rich. And he doesn't care what anyone thinks of him. He graduated from high school young, got his college degree young, and is one of the youngest college professors. Life has come easy for Jordan and he had a bit of a difficult time keeping his feet planted in the real world. One of his professors challenged him saying, "Find what makes you work the hardest, and dare yourself to make a difference." That struck a chord with Jordan and he decided to teach.
~ Chemistry. Seriously, I can't say it enough. Derek and Jordan, while an unlikely match, have scorching hot chemistry. But Ella Frank tortures us with a slow burn. Gah. I really couldn't stand it.
~ Alternating POV. My favorite way to read a book.

What I didn't like about the book:
~ I don't quite understand why Jordan didn't want a relationship with Derek once he graduated from college. I didn't connect with Jordan's POV and his reasons as much as I did with Derek.
~ Push/pull. I know everything can't be sunsets and roses, but Derek and Jordan had SO many fights. I couldn't have done with a couple less.

Bottom line: this book made me feel everything. I couldn't help but fall in love with Derek and I loved the connection between Derek and Jordan. Highly recommend, but start with Finley.
Scratch that - start with the Temptation series if you haven't already read that!

He could hear the blood rushing around his head, and when his eyes met Derek's, Jordan knew he'd grossly miscalculated this moment. This was so much more than acting on something they'd been tiptoeing around for years. This... this was everything.

Finley-EllaFrank-CustomDesign-JayAheer2016-WM-Ebook-finalimage  Finley (Sunset Cove Series #1)
It's time to come home, Finn. It’s been seven years since Daniel Finley left his hometown in Florida for the hustle and bustle of Chicago’s city life. Since then, he’s worked hard for his position at the prestigious law firm Leighton & Associates, even when it’s caused distance and isolation from his family and friends. But that’s all about to change. On his thirtieth birthday, he receives the one thing he never dared hope for. Something that was promised to him years earlier—a note. One simple sentence from the man he’s never been able to forget. Six words will forever change the course of their lives. Brantley Hayes has it all. Or so he thinks. When he first made the decision to take a job down in Florida, his family thought he was crazy. But, after years of living in the quiet beach town, he finally feels a sense of community. He’s surrounded himself with friends who are like family, has a job he loves, and owns a spectacular beachfront property that is his sanctuary. Yet he still feels unfulfilled, as if a piece of the puzzle is missing, and he knows exactly which piece it is. On an impulse, he follows through with a promise he made years earlier. A promise to call home the one he sent away. Nothing is as simple as it seems. After years of separation, the former lovers are reunited, but Brantley wasn’t expecting to encounter the high walls now guarding Daniel’s heart. Daniel may not be the same person he was when he left, but he knows that the first step to healing is the note in his hand.

Teach Me Dirty by Jade West - BLOG TOUR!!

Teach Me Dirty

Author: Jade West

Genre: Erotic Romance

They tell me it’s unhealthy, just a stupid crush. They tell me it’s infatuation, and will never come to anything. Never mean anything.

Because what would I know, right?

I haven’t even finished school. I’m just a silly little girl.

And no little girl should want the things I want from him.
No little girl should have the thoughts I have…

But they’re wrong.
I really do love Mr Roberts.
I love Mr Roberts because he’s the most amazing man, the most amazing artist, the most amazing teacher that could ever have existed.

And what if… just what if Mr Roberts wants me, too?

What if Mr Roberts really does want to Teach Me Dirty?

4.5 Stars!!

I loved this book!!!! Teacher - student romances are so much fun to read. That forbidden, sneaking around, taboo aspect makes the story soooooo addictive.

Teach Me Dirty was so addictive for me!

Helen is an artist. And she is in love with her art teacher, Mr. Roberts.

Not only is Mr. Roberts her teacher, but he is 20 years her senior.

What I loved about this book:
~ Holy. Hotness. The chemistry between these two characters was intense and scorching hot. Add to it that it was forbidden - it made it even hotter.
~ Helen. She is different from other girls. The popular crowd always finds someone to pick on and Helen is an easy target. But she knows her heart. And her heart wants Mr. Roberts. He is the only one who really sees her. He gets her quirks. He understands her creative expression. He makes her feel real. So many others make her feel invisible. She burns for him. I loved watching her fall in love and experience how wonderful it is. She blossoms and grows under his affection.

"I'm thinking how I've never felt like this. How I didn't even know it was possible to feel so close to another body they way I feel when...when you're inside me. How I didn't know it was possible to feel someone in the way I feel you when you're skin is against mine. I didn't know how much I wan't to breathe someone else's breath and feel their heart next to mine, and see what they see, and love what they love."

~ Mr. Roberts. GAH! This man. I love that we get his POV. He's so gentle and responsible. And so freaking dominating and dirty all at the same time. He tries to resist Helen. He knows that pursuing any kind of relationship outside of student/teacher with her is wrong. He denies her time and again. But since his wife passed away 9 years ago he has merely existed. Helen makes him feel alive again. And he really falls in love with her.

I wanted to protect her. Wanted to love her. Wanted to consume her, and tear her apart and make her whole again. I wanted to possess her. Wanted to worship her. Wanted to wrap her soul in mine and keep her there for all time.

You don't want to root for these characters - that would be gross, right? But I couldn't help myself. I loved them together. I loved that together they were better than apart.

What I didn't like:
~ UK slang. In Jade West's previous books, I followed along without a problem. In this book, maybe because so much of it was talk of school levels/grades, I was a bit lost. All I knew is that Helen is 18 years old and not in college yet. I skimmed all the "sixth form" language because I just didn't understand it.
~ Lizzie. (view spoiler) I could have done without the Lizzie drama.

Bottom line: I loved this book. It's forbidden. It's hot. It's dirty. It's sweet. I couldn't stop myself from turning the pages.

Jade West knows how to sink her claws into me so that I can't help but think about her characters.

Jade West is a contemporary erotic author, real life submissive, and former sex chat-line operator, who is plenty used to getting people all steamed up with her dirty mouth. 1984 Against All Odds Release Day with Review

Cover Design: Regina Wamba - MaeIDesign and Photography

Release Date: May 27, 2016

Love the music—never the man.

At twenty years-old, Sabrina Caroline was America’s sweetheart pop star, until she took a year off to treat her social phobia that her cut-throat-manager/mom paid top dollar to keep quiet. Now as part of her comeback, she’s forced into collaboration with one of the hottest rock bands topping the charts—Birds of Prey—whose lead guitarist happens to be her biggest mistake…and her biggest regret.

Hawke Owens never imagined Birds of Prey would surpass the basement of the Duncan High School for Performing Arts, let alone score them a European tour. But success has its price, and for him, it’s being forced to work with the only girl who shattered his heart—Sabrina Caroline. She’s everything that he remembers and more, every memory and fantasy come to life. At first touch, their connection is electric, but it’s also as strong as her determination to follow her number one rule—she doesn’t date rock stars…even though she’s become one.

Loving her again is as natural as holding his guitar, but she’s destroyed him once, and this time the stakes are higher, more public, and the consequences life-altering.

Against the backdrop of the birth of MTV, they’ll have to choose between the demands of their label, and the demands of the heart.

 4.5 Hawthorne Stars!

Rebecca blew me away with this novella! For 126 pages, it didn't leave me bereft. It was PERFECT! I was kind of scared that it wouldn't have an impact being the length it was, but she NAILED IT!

This is a second chance romance that was super sexy! The plot was well written and left me wanting more with Hawke and Bianca. So if you need something short, sweet and sexy, this book is for you!

This is a part of a collection of stories and I will buying those as well! The 80's references were AMAZING! Especially the MTV portion!!

He took my face in his hands and leaned in until he was all I could see, all I could feel, and smell. How easily he consumed me with a simple touch. “There have been too many women. Too many meaningless encounters. Too many faces. But there’s only been one name in my mouth, and it’s always been yours. Only yours.”

His mouth met mine without preamble, and before I could protest, I was lost to the feel of his lips on mine.

It was so familiar, yet new. When his tongue stroked the seam of my lips, I opened for him, and reveled in his groan as he sank into the kiss. I found the support beam against my back as he pressed against me, our bodies aligning with the fit I’d always remembered as perfect.

It was still just as exquisite.

His hand stroked down the side of my body, a path of fire igniting in his wake until he gripped one of my hips, pulling me even closer to him. With the other, he tilted my head for a deeper assault, exploring the recesses of my mouth, lingering like he didn’t already know every part of me.

It was the best second first kiss in the history of kisses.

I arched, pushing my breasts against his chest, and looped my arms around his neck. Then I kissed him back with every ounce of passion I’d missed these last three years. I kissed him the way I’d fantasized about since I walked out, with tiny nips and fuller, lingering caresses. When that wasn’t enough, I sucked his tongue back into my mouth and reveled in his groan of surrender.

He still wanted me, and that knowledge was more intoxicating than any alcohol, more high-inducing than any drug.

His hand shifted, running under my dress until he met bare skin where my garters attached to my stockings. “Holy shit, Brie. You’re going to be the death of me.”

He squeezed my bare thigh, and I lifted my leg, semi-wrapping it around his hip.

I’d almost forgotten how powerful it was to kiss Hawke, how it consumed every sense, every thought, until I was just a jumble of feelings and need. It was never just a kiss, it was a full-body experience that blocked out the rest of the world.

A moan escaped my lips as his set to my neck, and my head rolled back against the beam. He hit the spot right above my collarbone and I whimpered.

“I love that sound,” he murmured, then gently sucked that patch of skin so he could hear it again.

“Hey guys—whoa!” Chad’s voice penetrated my haze of desire.

“Go the fuck away,” Hawke said, moving so I was covered from Chad’s gaze. “Yeah, well, I would—I mean, good for you guys, and it’s about damn time—but

Oscar Oswald is here and he’s asking for us.”

I pushed gently against Hawke’s chest. If Oscar Oswald was here, it could mean huge things for their career. He was the biggest name going in rock. “You need to see what he wants.”
