I have been in a book funk for a while - not able to finish a book as quickly as I would like to. THIS book, THIS Beautiful Oblivion, THIS Maddox boy - made me read cover to cover. I couldn't put my Paperwhite down. 


Trent saw a challenge and he accepted it. Trent is my new favorite Maddox boy. Cami was fantastically written. The sub characters gave this book a level of thrill, anticipation, and excitement. This book is meant to be loved. #Trentislikewhoa

5 Maddox Stars!

 

What is it about those Maddox brothers? They are impossible not to love. Honestly, I thought that there was no way I would love Trenton like I love Travis, no way that Beautiful Oblivion could top Beautiful Disaster. I would say that the book was just as good, and if you can believe it… I liked Trent even more than Travis! I feel like I’m betraying Travis by saying that, but I can’t help it. I’ve fallen in love with a different Maddox boy ♥

 

 


Cami knows from the moment she becomes ‘friends’ with Trenton Maddox, she is in trouble. Maddox boys scream trouble. Guys want to be them and women flock to them. All but Cami. She’s always stayed away from the Maddox boys. Growing up with four brothers, she knows how guys like that are. Trent notices Cami at The Red Door and insists they become friends. He won’t let her say no.

How is it possible to stay just friends with someone like Trent? Tatted up and gorgeous, and super sweet to boot. He makes it very difficult. The more time Cami and Trent spend together, the closer they become. He’s not just a friend to her, he’s one of her very best friends.

 

Can these two stay just friends without crossing the line? Will the secret Cami’s been keeping ever come to the surface? There is so much more to the story line I am keeping to myself because this is one story you won’t want spoiled. Even most of the quotes I wanted to post in my review seemed a little too spoilerish. So you’re just going to have to read it for yourself! Be prepared to devour this book. Once you start it, you won’t want to put it down. It’s one of those books, just like BD that you could easily read cover to cover because you get lost in the story.

 

Trent Maddox. Different from Travis, but just as wonderful. I think he is the most caring, thoughtful and sweet Maddox brother. And a new favorite book boyfriend of mine. He was tattooed male perfection. And the old saying is absolutely true. When a Maddox boy falls in love, he loves forever. Cami was one of those heroines who never annoyed me. I loved how independent she was. She was loyal, level headed and strong. They worked well together. You will also get to meet a few new faces. This book has some awesome secondary characters!

Beautiful Oblivion takes place right before Beautiful Disaster and runs parallel to Travis and Abby’s story. It was fun to get those snippets of Travis in there. It makes me want to go back and re-read BD! And how this story ended… lets just say I am even more excited for the next Maddox brother’s book!

Jamie McGuire’s writing is addictive. Just try to stop reading this book once you’ve started- it’s near impossible! Beautiful Oblivion is  a wonderful freinds to lovers romance. Engaging, sexy, witty, ansty and fun. It’s going to be one that goes on my favorites list! I would recommend this one to ALL Beautfiul Distaster fans. You won’t be dissapointed!
