I read anywhere from 10-15 books a month, and I just love when I come across a book that inspires me to make quote pics! I made 2 for this one. Blake Landon and Erica Hathaway's story is one everyone needs to read. The sex is beyond hot, the romance is panty melting, and the characters are likable. I give 4.5 stars to Hardwired.

Blake and Erica first meet as Erica is leaving a restaurant that Blake is entering, and they collide(literally). They meet a second time when Erica meets with potential investors for her online company Clozpin. Blake is a typical cocky bad boy billionaire, who is used to getting what he wants, and that just happens to be Erica. Erica tries to fight her attraction to Blake, but of course she doesn't fight to hard. Blake helps her out and they meet again in Vegas and then follows a very passionate night in his hotel suite.

Erica is hiding something horrible from her past, that is until she comes face to face with that person one night while out with Blake. He gets her to open up about her past, and he decides to find out anything he can about that person. But Erica just wants to move past it, and begs Blake to let it go. Blake may go overboard trying to keep her safe and near him, his actions were justifiable and I found it quite charming how he doted on her. Erica wasn't used to that sort of thing so she fought him about everything he did for her.

There are some pretty jaw dropping twists in this book, and I love the angst-filled books. I think I managed to read this book in about 5 hours, it grabbed me from page 1 and didn't let go until I finished it. And I'm looking forward to reading more from this author in the future, especially Hardpressed(Hackr, #2)

Meredith Wild picked up her first romance novel at the tender age of twelve, and shortly after put pen to word processor and made her first attempt at writing a love story inspired by those she so enjoyed reading well past her bedtime.

Her dream of writing took a back seat to college, parenthood and eventually entrepreneurship, which led her into the fast-paced and male-dominated high tech industry. With enough life experience for a few lifetimes, she now devotes her hours to writing contemporary adult romance, with a hint of kink.
