The Player Release Blitz

  Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000038_00074]

Baseball has never been sexier in an all-new novel by New York Times Bestselling Author, K. Bromberg. Easton Wylder is baseball royalty. The game is his life. His passion. His everything. So, when an injury threatens to end Easton’s season early, the team calls in renowned physical therapist, Doc Dalton, to oversee his recovery. Except it’s not Doc who greets Easton for his first session, but rather, his daughter, Scout. She may be feisty, athletic, defiant, and gorgeous, but Easton is left questioning whether she has what it takes to help him. Scout Dalton’s out to prove a female can handle the pressure of running the physical therapy regimen of an MLB club. And that proof comes in the form of getting phenom Easton Wylder back on the field. But getting him healthy means being hands-on. And with a man as irresistible as Easton, being hands-on can only lead to one thing, trouble. Because the more she touches him, the more she wants him, and she can’t want him. Not when it’s her job to maintain the club’s best interest, in regards to whether he’s ready to play. But when sparks fly and fine lines are crossed, can they withstand the heat, or is one of them bound to get burned?

Models on Top Danny by S.L. Scott blog tour

DANNY BY S.L SCOTT – REVIEW AND EXCERPT TOUR

Everything you’ve heard about modeling is true, and you haven’t heard the half of it.

It’s glamorous.

It’s sexy.

And yes, the line between work and reality often blurs.

We’re not just prototypes of perfection. Models have feelings and desires, too. We may be genetically gifted, but we’re still human.

I’m only human. Yes, an extraordinary specimen that earns more in a day than most make in a year, but this eight pack didn’t create itself. I spend hours working on this body. The good looks just come natural. *Winks* Thanks, Mom and Dad.

I’m Danny Weston, Supermodel.

But one path was traded for another when I chose this career. Ten years later, I would trade my career to have it back. To have her back.

Reese Carmichael is the one woman I would give it all up for, and the only one I can’t have. Yet.

EXCERPT:

As if reading my mind, she says, “I want to have sex, and I want you to make me forget about tonight. I want to be blissfully unaware of everything, except for right now, here with you.”

I’m already smirking. How can I not when I have temptation in its truest form begging me to fuck her? It’s a hard job… like rock-hard, but I can handle it.

“Sit up here.” I lift her up and place her on the counter. “I’ll be right back. Be ready for me.”

After turning off the water, I slip out and go for a condom from my suitcase. When I return, she has her arms wrapped around her legs, giving me a peek of her sexy pussy. “Open for me.”

She spreads her legs and waits for further instruction. “Put your hands behind you.” She does. After stroking myself while eyeing her incredible tits, I rip open the package and put the condom on.

Her back is curved, pushing them forward, and I run my hand over her sensitive nipples. “You know how sexy you are?”

“No,” she says, the reply jagged. “Tell me.”

“I’ll show you, but brace yourself.” Just as she firms her palms against the counter, I slam forward, holding her by her hips as I thrust in and out several times, hard and fast.

Her warmth draws my eyes to close, the fuse inside sparking to life. I won’t last, not with her, not like this. I’m getting close to release when she says, “Stop. Danny, stop.”

My whole body is alert to the sound of her voice and I stop. Worried, I back up but keep my hands on her. “Are you okay? Did I hurt you?”

Each breath sends her chest rising and falling to a rapid beating heart. “No, this feels good. It’s too much and not enough.” Her hands cover her tits, teasing herself and me. “I want to see you. I need to see your eyes on me, on mine.”

Her pleasure is mine. Touching her cheek, I let my hand drift down and I smile. “I want to watch you come.” My fingers slip between her legs and I find that spot that makes her purr. “Keep your eyes on mine.”

She looks up, pupils wide as she takes me in. Her hands are holding me to the spot, her back to the mirror. I build her up again, tightening the coil that I want to watch unravel. I run my thumb over her bottom lip, wetting it. Then I kiss her as small circles increase in intensity and her moans are swallowed. When she starts holding on to me, I lean back and our eyes meet again—passion, addiction, obsession reside in the clarity of her deep blues and I don’t want her just to physically feel how strongly I feel for her, but to see it. “I’ve always loved you.”

The back of her head hits the mirror, her eyes close, and her mouth opens. “Oh God, Danny.” She shivers as the force of ecstasy takes over her body.

“Look at me, baby.”

I can see her struggle, but when her eyes open and meet mine, I don’t relent until I see her body coming down.

Sitting upright, she kisses my neck and whispers, “I want you inside me.”

Review:

3.5 stars

Models on Top Danny is a second chance romance. Danny is on top of the modeling business and he has it all. Except the one who got away. Reese Carmicheal. Who happens to reappear in his life for a new modeling gig for Tonio Vittori. Vittori was an absolute blast to read about. He stole the show for me.

MOT-Danny reads from both Danny and Reese's POV with flashbacks to explain their past relationship. While the flashbacks were necessary I almost felt like getting the reason why they split in the first place all those years ago wasn't justifiable for a split. Of course that's just my opinion, but at that point I lost that connection to either character. And I found myself skimming.

I enjoyed the story, but anytime you find yourself skimming that's not a good thing. I gave 3.5 stars because the writing was good and the plot was different. And that cover is gorgeous!! I enjoyed it enough that I'm going to continue with the next books!

ABOUT S.L SCOTT

New York Times and USA Bestselling Author, S. L. Scott, was always interested in the arts. She grew up painting, writing poetry and short stories, and wiling her days away lost in a good book and the movies.

With a degree in Journalism, she continued her love of the written word by reading American authors like Salinger and Fitzgerald. She was intrigued by their flawed characters living in picture perfect worlds, but could still debate that the worlds those characters lived in were actually the flawed ones. This dynamic of leaving the reader invested in the words, inspired Scott to start writing journeys with emotion while injecting an underlying passion into her own stories.

Living in the capital of Texas with her family, Scott loves traveling and avocados, beaches, and cooking with her kids. She's obsessed with epic romances and loves a good plot twist. She dreams of seeing one of her own books made into a movie one day as well as returning to Europe. Her favorite color is blue, but she likens it more toward the sky than the emotion. Her home is filled with the welcoming symbol of the pineapple and finds surfing a challenge though she likes to think she's a pro.

Unseen Messages by @PepperWinters 5 star review

The

“There is a message for everything. From handwritten to verbal, seen and unseen. Messages exist all around us.”

But what if you don't see?
What if you don't understand?
What if, by ignoring the message, your life is never the same again?

Estelle Evermore morphed from nobody to somebody overnight.
Galloway Oak put his past behind him and endeavoured to make his fortune using his trade.

Two strangers.
One plane.
Multiple unseen messages.

From sky to island, they find neither fame nor skills can save them. Stripped from society and left alone to survive the elements, the very task of staying alive outweighs all other needs.

Until survival turns to desire.
And desire turns to danger.

From New York Times Bestseller Pepper Winters comes a timeless love story answering the question of what happens when everything is stripped away.

Reanell's Review:
5 I WANT MY OWN ISLAND stars!

I was so unprepared for this book. It's a SUPER long book! Buttttttttt.....I LOVED IT! The beginning was a little slow for me, but once I got into the plot of the story it really picked up. These characters....I fell hard for these people. Seriously. Just look at my status updates while reading this and you'll see!

At that point in the book, I couldn't stop crying. And she hit me with a double whammy 😭😭

Unseen Messages is really wordy. But I don't think the story would have been better without all those words. I needed those descriptions to feel like I was there with Estelle and Galloway. Sigh....GALLOWAY stole my heart. Pippa and Conner....those kids, they broke my heart.

It's so hard to review this book and not give spoilers. The synopsis doesn't give much away so I can't really tell you my favorite parts! Just know that Pepper wrote a beautiful story with characters you NEED to meet and fall in love with.

Forever Pucked by Helena Hunting ALL THE STARS review

5 Beaver + Super MC stars!

I just ADORE Helena Huntings writing style. She makes me want to be cool enough to be friends with her. LOL. I can remember reading Pucked and laughing my ass off at Violet and her mouth. And with Forever Pucked it was the same. Only with Forever Pucked there was so much more HEART with Alex and Violet.

Helena can write funny romance like no other. I should also throw in the word dirty in that sentence...funny dirty romance. She's brilliant at it. I don't want this series to end. She just needs to keep writing stories about these characters. Just like the title says FOREVER PUCKED! Hehe.

Helena writes comedy with heart, so if you're looking for a romantic comedy that's not just fluff, this series is for you. I give all the stars! ALL THE STARS!!

RECOMMENDED FOR READERS 18 AND OLDER DUE TO
STRONG LANGUAGE, SEXUAL SITUATIONS AND VIOLENCE
Out of Time is book two in a series. It is not a standalone novel. I highly recommend that you read my first novel, Nine Minutes, to be able to understand the background stories of the main characters. There are many twists and turns in both stories that can best be connected if read consecutively.
Although I do answer all of the outstanding questions from Nine Minutes, there is more to this story, and some readers may consider it a cliffhanger. If you do not like cliffhangers, you may want to wait until the third novel is released in 2016.
They thought with his execution it would all be over.
They were wrong.
The leader of one of South Florida’s most notorious and brutal motorcycle gangs has been put to death by lethal injection. Days later, his family and friends should have been picking up the pieces, moving on. Instead, they’ve been catapulted into a world so twisted and dangerous even the most ruthless among them would be stunned to discover the tangled web of deception, not only on the dangerous streets of South Florida but all the way to the top.
In this gripping follow-up novel to Nine Minutes, Out of Time takes readers from the sun-drenched flatlands of 1950s Central Florida to the vivid tropical heat of Fort Lauderdale to the halls of Florida’s Death Row as we finally learn the gritty backstory of Jason “Grizz” Talbot and the secret he spent his life trying to conceal.
Not even Grizz’s inner circle knows his full story—the tragedy that enveloped his early life, the surprise discovery that made him the government’s most wanted and most feared, and the depths of his love for Ginny, the tenderhearted innocent he’d once abducted and later made his wife.
Once Grizz’s obsession and now the mother of his child, Ginny has spent years grieving the man she’d first resisted and then came to love. Now remarried to Tommy, a former member of the gang, the pair have spent more than a decade trying desperately to live a normal existence far from the violent, crime-ridden world they’d once carved out on the edge of the Florida Everglades. For Tommy, especially, the stakes are high. Desperately in love with Ginny for years, he’s finally living his dream: married to the woman he never thought he could have. But even with the façade of normalcy—thriving careers, two beautiful children, and a genuinely happy and loving marriage—they can’t seem to put the past behind them. Every time they turn around, another secret is revealed, unraveling the very bonds that hold them together.
And with Grizz finally put to death, now Ginny has learned secrets so dark, so evil she’s not even sure she can go on.
Will these secrets tear their love to pieces? And how far will Grizz go to protect what he still considers his, even from beyond the grave?

MAYBE IN ANOTHER LIFE by Taylor Jenkins Reid! Cover Reveal

Cover Reveal
MAYBE IN ANOTHER LIFE

by Taylor Jenkins Reid!

We’re dreaming of summer—feet in the sand, soaking up the sun, taking a dip in the pool—but what we’re most excited about this summer is the release of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s third novel, MAYBE IN ANOTHER LIFE (on sale July 7, 2015). While we (impatiently!) wait for the book, today we’re giving you a first look at the gorgeous cover! Plenty more information below…

ABOUT MAYBE IN ANOTHER LIFE:
At the age of twenty-nine, Hannah Martin still has no idea what she wants to do with her life. She has lived in six different cities and held countless meaningless jobs since graduating college, but on the heels of a disastrous breakup, she has finally returned to her hometown of Los Angeles. To celebrate her first night back, her best friend, Gabby, takes Hannah out to a bar—where she meets up with her high school boyfriend, Ethan.

It’s just past midnight when Gabby asks Hannah if she’s ready to go. Ethan quickly offers to
give her a ride later if she wants to stay.
Hannah hesitates.
What happens if she leaves with Gabby?
What happens if she leaves with Ethan?

In concurrent storylines, Hannah lives out the effects of each decision. Quickly, these parallel universes develop into surprisingly different stories with far-reaching consequences for Hannah and the people around her, raising questions like: Is anything meant to be? How much in our life is determined by chance? And perhaps most compellingly: Is there such a thing as a soul mate?
Hannah believes there is. And, in both worlds, she believes she’s found him.

Kindle Unlimited

Kindle Unlimited

I've seen tons of questions regarding Kindle Unlimited. So I figured I would try to help clear up some of the confusion and clarify what exactly KU is and the benefits of having it.

What is Kindle Unlimited?(This is copied exactly from Amazon)
"Kindle Unlimited is a subscription($9.99 a month) that offers you unlimited access to hundreds of thousands of Kindle books and thousands of audiobooks with Whispersync for Voice. You can keep up to ten books at a time and there are no due dates. Read your Kindle Unlimited books on any Kindle device or free Kindle reading apps."

To use Kindle Unlimited, you must have an Amazon account with a current, valid credit card and you must have 1-Click payments enabled. Titles in the Kindle Unlimited catalog may change at any time.

Kindle Unlimited also includes a free Audible membership for up to three months. To redeem your Audible benefit click on the link in your welcome email or sign in to your Amazon account and visit the Audible page.

How does this affect authors?

KU is a program that authors can use to get their book into readers hands who might not feel comfortable buying if it's not from an author they have read before. The author gets paid a commission if the reader makes it past 10% of the book.(I scroll past 10% right after purchase so the author gets paid right away) The author can choose what book to include and can remove that book whenever they choose to. It's totally up to the author. It may work for one author, and totally bomb for another.

K.A. Linde had this to say about KU: So the way Kindle Unlimited works is every time a reader borrows the book through the program and reads through 10% the author gets paid out of a pool of money Amazon has set aside. Generally that amounts to about $2 a borrow. We don't get anything if you borrow it and never open that bad boy up. Since I'm published through Montlake the division of Amazon PUblishing, the Record series is auto enrolled in KU. (You can click the book covers to go Amazon to check out her Record series)

K.A. also looked at her sales for me and noticed that last month she didn't have many "borrows" through KU but this month her sales and KU borrows were almost the same. Which led her to believe a bunch of people are borrowing those titles who might not otherwise had read it, which is the advantage. She also said, "I think its a decision that each author has to make for themselves. We are our business. It might work for someone and tank for another."

All 4 of us at Book Babes Unite pay for Kindle Unlimited. Each one of us read a lot of books, and that $9.99 a month actually helps us out. You also get 3 free months subscription to Audible....and that's enough of a selling point for me.

I spoke to Holly from Hollys Red Hot Reviews and she this is what she had to say.

"I like KU, it's allowed me to read new authors I may not have read otherwise. I love the option to borrow, and best part is if I loved the book I can always one-click it to own it.When I borrow a book I automatically scroll past 10% so it counts. I think KU is better than just letting a book not sell at all."

So we can see it's a useful tool for authors to get their books into readers hands who are leery of reading an author they don't know. For those readers who read a bunch and want another option of getting those books, this is the perfect way to do that.

Now, I'm sure you all are asking if it's worth paying for based on the books available to borrow. Well my answer to that(IMO) it is definitely worth the $9.99. Here are a list of books that are a part of Kindle Unlimited.

Jessica Park has most of her books on KU and Left Drowning was a top read for Christy and I(Reanell) for 2013. Want to know what makes this even sweeter? Her books have the narration, so when you borrow the book you also get the narration if you have an audible account.

A few more titles in KU
Scoring Wilder by R.S. Grey
Loving Mr. Daniels by Brittainy Cherry
Therapy  by Kathryn Perez
God Shaped Hole by Tiffanie DeBartolo(this costs $9.99 if you buy it)

Here are a few more with narration:
Seven Years to Sin by Sylvia Day
Reason to Breathe  by Rebecca Donovan(the whole series is on KU)
Not Quite Dating  by Catherine Bybee

I know some authors are afraid that readers who pay for KU won't purchase other books. That is not the case for me at all. If a book sounds appealing or is from an author I know and love I will still 1-click. And we are NOT one of the bloggers who won't promote authors because of it either. We don't blog to make money, we blog for our love of books. Yes we use Affiliate links but all money made from that is used for giveaways. Which helps us and the authors we love because we can offer more giveaways. I hope this post is helpful in answering your questions and if I missed anything feel free to ask me and I'll see what I can do to answer it.
