The Lying Hours by Sara Ney is LIVE!

ABRAHAM
DAVIS—Honest Abe to his friends—IS IN OVER HIS HEAD...

He’s a fixer
and a do good-er. The all-knowing, resident "grandfather" on the
wrestling team who everyone relies on to fix their problems. His teammates go
to him for everything; advice, homework, or when they need a sober driver at
three in the morning--whether he likes it or not.

Abe’s
current mission is easy: mend his roommates broken heart by helping him find a
girlfriend on the LoveU app--without getting caught in the lie...

SKYLAR
GABRIEL. IS. OVER. IT.

Over her bad
grades. Over her meddling older brother and his two best friends. And over
dating douchebags. What she wants to know is: where have all the nice guys
gone?

She longs
for a handsome, sweet, and honest guy who can make her laugh. In one last ditch
effort to prove that he exists—Skylar turns to LoveU.

On her worst
day, Skylar has no filter (it’s a miracle she hasn’t been ditched mid-date).

On her best,
she’s as wholesome, and sweet, as pie.

On Thursday?
She matches with Abraham Davis’s roommate.

Skylar
Gabriel is falling for the wrong guy—she just doesn’t realize it yet.

Why?

BECAUSE ABE
DAVIS IS A LIAR.

CHRISTY'S REVIEW:

Sara Ney writes the best laugh out loud rom-coms. Seriously, this book was a hoot. So hilarious. I can’t count how many times I literally laughed out loud. I've been reading a lot of emotional reads lately and this was exactly the book I needed in my life at this moment.

Abraham Davis is a wrestler but he's not your typical jock. He has the biggest heart and would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need. This can cause him to get taken advantage of and he gets into a bit of a situation because of it... Abe is trying to help his roommate get back in the dating game after getting his heart broken. He's setting up dates for him on an app exclusive to their campus. He's just vetting the girls and chatting with them (as the friend) for a bit to make sure they're a good fit for JB. And all is going well... until he falls for one of them.

Skylar hasn't put herself out there in a long time and her bestie talks her into logging on to said app. She's aprehensive to say the least. Until she starts talking to this one guy. He seems pretty perfect. Until she meets him. JB is nothing like he seems to be and she's so confused. She really connects with this guy on the app, but in person they do not fit. Then she meets his roommate Abe. That is the type of guy she wants. Things get a little bit conflicted up in here...

There is a huge douchebag in this book, but it’s not the hero. My Abe is the sweetest! And I really liked Skylar, too. She's a little blunt, has no filter, and is a lot of fun. She and Abe compliment each other perfectly. Skylar’s roommate Hannah made this book for me. My god I laughed so hard any time she was in the picture. And my boy Zeke made more than one appearance and it made me so so happy! Also, that epilogue… I am living for what’s coming next!!! This is a series that never disappoints. I've loved each book and I'm so happy there are more to come.

Ney's writing is effortlessly funny and this story is sweet, swoony, hilarious and has just the right amount of steam. Highly recommended to all lovers of new adult romance and sports romance!!
Lost. She’s lost in herself, and I’m lost in her and it’s freaking gorgeous. I fucking love her. One swipe. One date. Sweet. Salty. Bratty. Kind—and all mine.
