Love has no limits. No boundaries. No time. It’s eternal. Forever.

This book was perfection.
This series is amazing.
I randomly stumbled on a friends review of a new release called More Than This last year and thought I’d give it a go. I fell in love with that book. Each book in the series has been better than the last, and this is my favorite by far. I have been so excited to read about Lucy ever since I met her. But Cam… oh my Cam. How did I overlook him in the first 3 books? I’ve always loved Logan best, but now… now it’s all about Cam!

Cameron is one of those perfect guys. Loving, caring, supportive. I loved seeing him in the beginning stages of their relationship. He was Lucy’s strength, her rock. She needed that. He wasn’t just there for her, he was there for her brothers. You will not be able to read this book and not fall in love with Cam. It just can’t happen.

Cameron is an artist. He’s an athlete. He’s an unbelievably respectful son. Above all that, Cameron has a heart the size of the ocean.

The weight of the world was put on Lucy’s shoulders after her mother’s passing. What would she have done without Cam’s love, support and devotion? It’s hard to tell. Watching the two of them fall in love was so beautiful. Jay has this way about writing the sweetest, most emotional  scenes, but there is also so much humor laced in. Getting to experience the beginning of Cam and Lucy was wonderful. All the ‘first’s’ that come with young love.

“Is this… I mean…. have you ever been kissed before?”
My head shakes frantically. I can’t control it.
His face lights up.
I don’t know why he’s happy that he’s trying to make out with a pajama wearing, frozen, virgin kisser. That doesn’t sound like happy times at all.
“So I’m your first?”
I nod again. The same speed as before. That’s it- I’ve lost control of all bodily function.
“I like that.”

“You make my world stop, Lucy.”
Cam and Lucy don’t have the normal high school relationship. They know early on that they are it for each other. Through all the struggles, loss and life’s challenges, one thing stays consistent. They have each other.

Through highschool and college, their relationship has some ups and downs. I’d love to say that it stayed 100% perfect, easy etc, but I would be lying. It was hard sometimes, but thats real. Lucy and Cam go through their fair share of heartbreak and conflict. Your heart will shatter, you will cry, but it will be worth every second of heartache.

They both want forever with each other. Is forever possible?

“It’s the sunrise and sunset. He says it reminds him of our love. Because it’s eternal- the rise and fall of the sun. It’s forever. Just like us.”

So lets wrap it up…. More than Forever is an emotional, hilarious, beautiful, heart breaking, and  a healing tale of a first love, an only love, a FOREVER love. It’s a story of love, loss and hope. A story that will make you believe in real and true love. All the humor evens out the emotional aspect perfectly. This is a book (and series) that you don’t want to miss out on it. I’m being serious here. If you haven’t read these books, drop what your doing and do it! Promise you won’t regret it! ♥ ♥ ♥

There is a love so fierce it cannot be measured.
A heart so strong it will never slow.
There is a promise so sure it can never lie.
And we promise that love forever.

Forever and always.

There is a love so fierce it cannot be measured.
A heart so strong it will never slow.
There is a promise so sure it can never lie.
He promised me that love forever.
Even when it wasn't enough.

Forever. Everlasting. Eternal.
There is no measure of time.
No sounds of the ticking of a clock.
Just the rising and falling of the sun.
And our own sense of forever.

But our forever isn't always.

Getting out of my hold, she walks back to the bus. She sticks her head inside and looks around before turning to me. "The day you get your license…" She takes two steps to cover the distance between us. "You pick me up and take me somewhere secluded, and we make out in the back. For hours."
My eyes go huge and I slowly nod. "That can be arranged."
She smiles. "And I'm talking full on making out, Cameron. I mean, I want you shirtless and horizontal." I try not to look down at my shorts; positive I'm sporting a semi. She continues, "And I want to be shirtless and you better be touching boob."
I choke on air.
She giggles, and then crosses her arms over her breasts. "Deal?"
I think I agree, but I can't be sure, because now all I can think about is boob. I place my hands on her waist and gently push her until she's against the bus.
And then I kiss her.
Her hands go to my hair, tugging a little, and bringing me closer to her.
And we kiss.
When she finally loosens her hold, I pull back.
She kisses me once, and then sighs. "You really bought this bus, huh?"
I nod.
"So that you can help me out with my brothers?"
I nod again. "Of course, Luce, you're my girl. It's my job to take care of you."
Her eyes glaze over with tears again.
I wanted to kick myself for making her cry. But before I can say anything, she wraps her arm around my neck and brings me down for another quick kiss. She pulls away and says, "I really like you, Cameron."
I grin. "Yeah?"
"Yeah," she says dreamily.
And then my heart begins to race.
My palms begin to sweat.
And all I can hear is the blood pumping in my ears.
"Good," I respond, and then inhale a huge breath. "Because I'm kind of in love with you, Lucy."
Her eyes bug out. Her jaw drops to the floor. "What?" she breathes out.
I lift my chin and fake a confidence that doesn't exist. "You heard me."
It's the longest three seconds of my life.
Then finally, "Cameron, I love you so much."
And then she kisses me.

Five weeks, three days and eight hours later, I touch boob.

The More Series

More Than This, #1

In one night my fairytale ended. Or it may have begun. This is my story of friendship and love, heartbreak and desire, and the strength to show weakness.

One night I met a girl. A sad and broken girl, but one more beautiful than any other. She laughed through her sadness, while I loved through her heartbreak.

*This is our story of a maybe ever after.*

He was right. It made no difference whether it was 6 months or 6 years.
I couldn’t undo what had been done. I couldn’t change the future.
I couldn’t even predict it.
It was one night.
One night when everything changed.
It was so much more than just the betrayal.
It was the Tragedy.
The Deaths.
The Murders.
But it was also that feeling.
The feeling of falling.

More Than Her, #2

For every action there is an equal or opposite reaction." For every choice you make there are rewards, or there are consequences. It was my choice to walk away the first time. And my choice to chase her the second. But sometimes you don't get a choice, and all you get are the consequences.” "Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” Unless that someone is Logan Matthews. Because loving him didn't give me the strength to walk away. It didn't give me the courage to fight for him. And when it was over, all it gave me was a broken heart.

More Than Him, #3

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us." - Marianne Williamson

We live in a world of darkness and shadows,
where monsters hide and aim to ruin.
And they did.
They ruined us and turned our dreams into nightmares.
But now we're back.
And we're fighting.
Not just for us, or for each other, but for our light.
