I love over the top, obsessive, protective alphas. And for some reason, when Aurora Rose Reynold’s writes about insta-love, it doesn’t even bother me. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Normally, this brash alpha and love at first sight thing does not work for me. But the way she does it just does. These books are guilty pleasures of mine and I can’t get enough! This book is so different from her other series, but not in a bad way! I enjoyed the steam, the mystery, and even the over the top domineering man!

When Nolan first laid his eyes on Chloe, it was over. He knew he had met the girl for him. Call it crazy, but the second he saw her it clicked. He just knew.

My feelings for her go above and beyond the realm of normal and into the categories of slightly crazy, obsessed, and extreme possession.... She's mine and has been from the moment I first saw her.

 

Nolan is a successful attorney and Chloe works in a bakery. Their relationship moves fast. It works for them, they are happy together. Then someone starts messing with Chloe... and Nolan knows it has to do with him. He has people that aren’t too fond of him. He just has to figure out who is after him and how to stop it...

Justified is a short read. It’s sexy, suspenseful and entertaining. I love Aurora Rose Reynold’s writing and I like my alpha’s that are bossy and protective. I know stories like this don’t work for everyone, but I very much enjoyed this novella and look forward to the rest of the Alfha Law Firm books!

“You look stunning.” I step towards her, running my index finger down her bare side. “I don’t know how I’m going to make it through the evening without killing every man who looks at you.” That’s not a lie, I think, tracing the edge of her breast.

“You didn’t pick this, did you?” she asks.

 I lift my eyes to meet hers and shake my head.

“I can change.”

“No. You look...” I shake my head, trying to think of a way to describe her. “You look absolutely beautiful.”

But coming back to a town with old demons and people she’d rather not see with no job prospects isn’t easy. Flynn doesn’t really understand her struggles. He’s just so happy she’s home with him. Where she belongs. He does whatever is in his power to make her happy to be there. To make her want to stay with him. It’s not easy for Flynn. When Ellie wants to travel and gets frustrated with things in the town he just doesn’t get it. The only thing Flynn knows is that he and Ellie are in love and should be together no matter what.

Ellie was such a hard character to love in the first book. I love her. I love the changes she’s made. I love the way she loves Flynn unconditionally. I’m sure it’s not easy to be with someone who can’t always say they love you. Who doesn’t always get you and your feelings, but Ellie does. Flynn is an very easy man to love. He always has been. I personally love the fact that he has no filter. He says what he means all the time. I also love how hard he tries. He goes to therapy, he always tries to make Ellie happy. He is pretty perfect in my book.

I love this couple and their beautiful, messy and imperfectly perfect love story. This series is very special to me. For me, this book wasn’t quite as emotional as the first. I thought I was going to go the entire book without shedding a tear and I was proud of myself. Then I got to the last page and the waterworks began. This was a fantastic conclusion to this couple’s story. I would recommend to all fans of Reclaiming the Sand.

 

 

By loving me unconditionally, he had resurrected an Ellie that I had thought dead and buried. Flynn had taught me that living was more than breathing. And that earning and deserving love were battles worth fighting.
