5++ I love this book Stars!!!
Do you know what kind of book I love? The kind that keeps me guessing as to what is gonna happen, the kind that makes my heart drop to my toes and makes me want to jump inside that book and become the person telling the story. And that's exactly what I got with this book!! From page 1 until the very end I was captivated by the magical words that Kim Carmichael wrote.
This story is written in multiple POV's you get to jump inside Shane's head first, and let me tell you it's a great place to be. His character is one that I easily fell head over heels for and I am dying to get more story from him. So Kim keep this series coming!!!
So Shane hears a crash coming from the apartment next door and runs and kicks the door down to save what he thinks is the old lady, new neighbor. What he finds however is the new tenant is a young woman and is laying on the floor behind a pile of boxes with a gash on her forehead. Shane then makes it his mission to become this girls friend.
Lindsay moved away from home to become somebody different. She is tired of being used by everyone and leaving her heart-broken in the after math. She didn't expect to be taken in by the tattooed hotties next door to her. They need an accountant to help them with the shit storm a brewing from the IRS and she agrees since Shane came to her rescue after she fell.
We get some great side characters as well. Carson and Emily are the siblings to Shane and Ivan is his best friend. And they all adore Lindsay. I'm so glad that Kim is making the next book about Ivan and Emily, I can't wait to get my hands on that one!!
I can't even describe how much I loved this book. I didn't want to stop reading once I started. It's so refreshing to find a new author and fall in love with their work. I think that is the most fun part of blogging. Meeting all these new authors who I might not have read before.
