I love Sarina Bowen’s hockey books and I’m really enjoying her ‘Hockey Guys’ series.
We are back in Colorado with the Cougars, this time with defenseman T0mmaso DiCosta. Tom has recently bought a new place and it needs to be furnished and decorated, and quickly. With his mom visiting for the holidays he wants it to be perfect for her. Here enters Carter Flynn.
Carter is down on his luck after getting burned on a bad business deal as well as a bad breakup. When he gets this job working on Tom’s home it feels almost too good to be true but Tom hates shopping and really needs his house together. Carter is bound and determined to do a good job and get things back on track.
What neither one of them expects is for there to be sparks between the two of them. These two seem like they don’t have much in common, but they actually are more alike than one would think. I loved them both and seeing them fall in love was beautiful.
This was a lovely slow burn romance that was heartwarming and fun. If you’re a sports romance fan I highly recommend!
