The Redemption of Callie and Kayden by Jessica Sorensen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
4 I loved this book stars!
* I received a copy in exchange for my honest review from Forever(Grand Central Publishing) through Net Galley.*
I love Jessica's writing style, she knows how to write emotion. And that damn cliffhanger she left us with...ugh, I didn't think I could wait for this book. But then I got the book and devoured it! I couldn't stop reading it. I absolutely love Callie and Kayden in this book. Callie knew exactly what Kayden needed and even though it broke her heart she did what she could to help with his recovery.
But I trusted him once and I decide to do it again. I just pray to God he doesn’t shove me down and break me, because I’m already in too many pieces and I just don’t know how much more breaking I can take.
And Kayden....I just love him, he is so broken, but yet remains strong for Callie. He loves her, but he fights his feelings because he feels he is not good enough for Callie, he is too broken.
Maybe if I try hard enough, we'll fall into each other and become one single person and we can share our pain instead of carrying it by ourselves.
Something else I would like to see from Jessica is a story on Luke, I want to know what demons he is hiding. Because I can tell it's something big just from the little I got from the story. I need to know his story even if its a novella.
This story is full of heartache, drama, and a heartwarming love story. I can't wait to read more from Jessica!

Craving Constellations review and giveaway
"How is it, that someone can make decision after decision attempting to get away from their past and somehow end up right back where they started?"
When Brenna decided to leave the only life she'd ever known, she never thought she'd ever be back. Now, five years later she's running from her clean cut husband straight back to the motorcycle club that raised her... and the man she left behind. She left with a secret, and as soon as she returns the truth will break her carefully constructed life wide open.
Review
Anybody who knows me, knows that I LOVE MC books, and when a new one comes out I automatically 1-click it. With this book, I went on one hell of a bike ride!! I just loved Brenna and Dragon, their story pulled me in from the start!
We are introduced to Brenna and her daughter who are leaving their miserable life and heading back to the life of her fathers MC. Her life with her abusive husband had finally took its toll on her body and mind.
“I'd never imagined the world I chose would be far worse than the one I had left.”
She arrives at the compound and once she sees her father and he grabs her in a big bear hug, the pain finally breaks her and she passes out cold. She awakes and soon discovers her secret is no longer a secret. Dragon, the man she ran from 5 years ago is standing in the doorway holding their daughter. And he's pissed! With good reason, she ran from him without knowing she was pregnant, but decided she was better off without him so he never knew.
My favorite part of the whole book was when Brenna went all crazy with Dragon's ole lady for looking at her daughter coldly, and saying that she was also her daughter.“My daughter has a mother. She is not and never will be yours. You stay the fuck away from her. And if I ever see you look at her again the way you were earlier, I'll fucking cut your eyes out with a dull spoon.” I think she gained her respect back after that from everybody in the club, including Dragon.“I was the princess of the Aces MC, and I had the bloody knuckles to prove it.”
I don't want to ruin the book by talking about key points that I want to address so just buy the book and read for yourself. And let me just say that some parts of this book was hard to read, and that it isn't for the faint of heart. This book speaks of true MC dealings and some people can't handle that truth. So be warned that if you can't handle abuse, this isn't the book for you. I really wanted to junk punch Dragon at one point in the book, but Nicole was able to bring my emotions back in check. To me that shows how brilliant an author can be, make you hate a character but be able to turn that emotion back is amazing. I will be patiently waiting for book 2 now.

Maybe Baby Lite Blog Tour
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Maybe Baby Lite was just the kind of book I’ve been looking for! Full of mystery, suspense, angst, steam, passion and love. An all around great read!
Tylar Preston hasn’t had the easiest life. She grew up in Kentucky with her neglectful and horrible mother. But now, she’s on her own. She is in Virginia for college. Tylar takes a summer job at Sinclair Stables. She loves horses, so it is the perfect opportunity for her. While she is working, she meets Trey Sinclair...
Trey is a sexy as hell alpha male who happens to be an attorney in Atlanta. He is home for part of the summer to make sure the stables are being run properly while his parents are out of town. Trey is taken with Tylar right away. He see’s her with his prized horse and he wants to know more about her. After an incident in the pool where Tylar gets hurt, Trey becomes a bit overprotective of her ('bit' may be an understatement...)
Tylar and Trey develop a connection, they have some major chemistry. But readers beware... there is a lot of back and forth between the two, angst, sexual tension.
Trey is a bit of a control freak, and I like that about him.
"I rather like it when you take charge."
"You do?"
"Of course; just as long as you only do it when I let you"
Although Trey makes it very clear to Tylar he is not ready for any type of serious commitment/relationship, these two get together. And it is HOT.
He wanted no complications, I got that, but sometimes it was the complications that made life interesting.
Tylar has trouble dealing with Trey’s controlling behavior at times. Her age and maturity level can come out towards the beginning of the book. She doesn’t like to be told what she can and cannot do, and she acts out a bit. She doesn’t know exactly where she stands with Trey and that scares her. She is starting to fall for him...
Their relationship is complicated. Exactly what Trey didn’t want. He has things in his past that make him this way. Tylar knows he was once engaged, but he never talks about it. No matter what state of their relationship is in, one thing never changes. Trey wants to protect Tylar. Protect her from her nightmares, the demons of her past that are starting to come back to haunt her. As much as Tylar doesn’t want to admit it, she wants Trey in her life. She needs him. One drunken night in the stable will change everything between them.
Miscommunications arise, Trey assumes something happened that didn’t and Tylar never corrects him. She goes back to Kentucky. She is off on her own. She has her friend Gina in Atlanta, but no real family left. Her family issues are still a mystery for now. But she is determined to make it on her own. Trey realizes his mistake and he knows he can’t be without Tylar. He didn’t want to... but he fell in love with her as well. He just needs to prove it to her. That she is the only one he wants.
“You’re mine, Tylar. Don’t ever forget that. You’re mine.”
As Tylar and Trey’s relationship moves forward, more secrets come to light and some crazy things are revealed.... I can’t wait to read the next book and see what happens next with Trey and Tylar!
I’ve read Andrea Smith’s G-man series and I really enjoyed them. I have to say, I think I liked this one even better! Trey is just amazing. I love him! There is never a dull moment in this book. The story, even though it’s lite was still a little on the long side, but it never lagged or dragged for me. It had a good pace and kept me engaged throughout the entire book. So much more than a romance between Tylar and Trey. Their journey is about love, trust, understanding, communication and that connection. It is full of lust, steamy and passionate sex, suspense, mystery, drama and angst. Trey and Tylar don’t have the easiest relationship, but neither one is willing to give up on each other. I’m excited to get more of my questions answered and see Trey and Tylar’s relationship progress in Baby Love Lite.

Unattainable Review and Giveaway
UNATTAINABLE is the 3rd book in the Undeniable series, and with each book she manages to shock and awe me even more. These characters are not for the faint of heart, but you know what? I fucking love every single one of them. Each person has their own story, and each story is enough to break my heart. But with Madeline's writing, she can mend that broken heart like no other.
I started reading Unattainable and I came across this "Name's Gail, honey, but the boys call me Slitty. You wanna find out why?" Yep I totally died laughing at that!! If you are part of Deuce's Babes group you will know all about Slitty, and I just love her to pieces! She does so much to help promote authors and she doesn't ask for a thing in return, so here I am telling you Slitty how much I adore you and your fucking sense of humor. Babe, keep that shit coming, yeah?
So book 3 we get a little of everybody, but the main characters are Dirty and Ellie and Cage and Tegan. Of course we get plenty of Deuce too, because what would a book about Hell's Horsemen be without the Prez Deuce? I really wanted to junk punch Deuce quite a few times with how he treated Cage, but by the end, I realized why he was so hard on him
"Fuck it up, down, left, and right, fuck it straight to heaven and back down to hell, and then fuck it up the damn ass with Satan'a red-hot spiked tail."
Dirty, how shall I even begin on Dirty? I knew from the first time I read of Dirty, that man's story would be heartbreaking. I mean, what grown adult doesn't take a bath or wash their clothes? Something terrible had to happen for him to be that way. And then when I get the full scoop on Dirty, I can't even begin to tell you how I was not expecting that shit...AT ALL! I loved how he became Ellie's protector, and how easily Ellie was able to deal with the demons he carried. Because trust me when I say that this man has some pretty fucked up demons in him. Not just anybody could deal with that.
"First order of business," Ripper said dryly. "Does Dirty need a new name?"
Cage and Tegan were my favorites in this book. I wish I could be more like Tegan, and just say anything and fuck the consequences. The things that came out of her mouth had me fucking cracking up the entire time.
Two words. Two stupid words and my stomach burst into a thousand butterflies, retarded butterflies, who didn't have a clue where they were going and were bumping into one another like drunken bumper car drivers.
Or things like this... Groaning he came quickly, more than likely a straight shot into her stomach considering she'd been champion deep-throating him like a sword swallowing porn star.
If you love raw, dirty, dark books, this is the series for you.

Happy Birthday Jay McLean
You know every once in awhile you come across a book that just touched your heart and can't get the story out of your head. So one day Christy(the other half of book babes) tells me about this book that I ABSOLUTELY had to read. And I trust her judgement 150% when it comes to books, because we are like book twins with how similar our tastes are in books. So I bought More Than This by Jay McLean and started reading it on our long drive back from Florida to Ohio. I devoured the book in like hours, I could NOT put it down. Jay's birthday is coming up and she decided to place her book on sale for her birthday weekend. Christy has posted a review on the blog, so I thought I would do something a little different, instead of writing my review, I would share some of my favorite quotes from the book.
“I should lick him. Just his chest. NO! I’m not that wasted. Is he? Maybe he won’t remember if I just have one lick.”
“Because if I kiss you, then I'll want to taste you, and if I taste you then I'll need to fuck you. And if I fuck you, that means your mine. And when I make you mine, I want it to be in OUR bed. Not in a hotel room...Is that okay?”
“He's not the heart and flowers kind of guy, but he's the heart and soul kind, and fuck if every girl would rather have that than flowers.”
“Nothing says awkward like coming in your pants while dry humping.”
“We're testing each other. Seeing how far we can take this before something snaps. Most likely my dick.”
I think this next one is my favorite. This scene is hilarious, I mean how many of our significant others can relate to this?
“Cam starts laughing, "Oh, I love it when she reads." He turns to Lucy who's face is starting to contort and turn to a bright shade of red, "She reads these smutty books, like full on dirty shit, full of sex and like... bdsm shit."
"I'm not joking boys, they're like full on pornographic. Talking about silky shafts and veiny dicks and shit," Logan is now on the ground holding his side from the pain of laughing too hard.
"Sometimes she'll be reading, then all of sudden she'll put her book down and look at me like she wants to eat me, literally eat me!" he yells, laughing harder, still swatting away her hands that are trying to shut him up, "I mean I don't mind it, not at all. It's hot as fuck. And she wants to try everything she reads in these books. Like... everything. She learns everything from these books... so I don't give a shit when, of how much she reads, I get rewards.”

Blog tour: Perfect Regret by A. Meredith Walters
Perfect Regret by A. Meredith Walters
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
★ 4-4.5 Stars ★
We meet Riley and Garrett in Bad Rep. Riley Walker is Maysie’s best friend and spunky, snarky roommate. Garrett Bellows is the guitarist for Jordan’s band. He is a townie, known for getting high, throwing parties and hooking up. Oh but there is SO much more to Garrett than meets the eye!
The first time Garrett met Riley, he knew. He knew she was something special, a challenge. There was something about her feisty attitude he liked. Riley is a little (understatement) judgmental of Garrett. She only see’s the musician with no ambition when she looks at him.
Looking at him standing in front of me, I couldn’t see past the blood shot eyes, messy shirt, and torn jeans. And I didn’t want to either. Garrett was who he was and I knew without a doubt that we were never destined to mix.
Little does she know the things that have happened in his past, things that have shaped him. Made him into the man he is today. Riley and Garrett see each other occasionally, but she spends a lot of time with her boyfriend, Damien. Damien dumps Riley. She is a bit depressed, but Garrett tries to help get her out of her funk.
“If he could let you go, he’s a fucking moron. Not worth the mud on your shoes. You are so much more that that.”
After ‘hooking up’ with Garrett, Riley has mixed feelings about him. He gets under her skin. She starts to see glimpses of the real Garrett, but she is still so inside of her own head. Garrett is so sweet to Riley, even when she doesn’t deserve it.
Riley is so focused on herself, her schooling, potential career etc. Riley can be very hurtful. Some of the things she said to Garrett and their interactions broke my heart.
Garrett and Riley seem like total opposites. But when Riley has to deal with a family emergency, Garrett is the one who is there. Who stays with her, helps her cope. They realize they may not be quite as different as they thought. Garrett has a fragile heart. He doesn’t let many people in for a reason. He’s willing to let Riley in.
And what does she do with that... she stomps all over his precious little heart.
“I just wanted you, to just once, look at me as the guy who would give you the world. And for that to be enough.”
Riley never means to intentionally hurt Garrett, she lets her inner bitch come out way too much. She doesn’t always see things the right way. It takes someone who can make her see things in a new light for her to realize what she had and what she lost.
“Have a life that matters. A life with purpose. Find your own way but don’t lose sight of the journey.”
Riley and Garrett are both a little lost, but they may each be the missing parts of each other.
Riley is smart, but she is also a smart ass. She thinks too much, and only with her brain. Never with her heart. Garrett is a very complex character. What you see isn’t what you get in the very best way. The more I saw the real Garrett, the more I loved him.
“I want you so deep in my life that you can’t ever leave.”
Personally, I enjoyed this one a bit better than Bad Rep. For one reason. Garrett. A sweet broken soul. He made me swoon, melted my heart. The main reason this wasn’t a five star read for me? Riley. Riley grew on me by the end, I was happy she grew as a person and made some better decisions, but some of her choices early on had me wanting to give her a good slap. She was straight up mean. In the end, I was happy with her transformation.
Full of drama, angst, add in some heart broken moments and some heart warming moments, some sexy and a bit of sweet and you have Perfect Regret. There will be frustrating moments, tearful moments, happy moments, your emotions will be all over the place. I did enjoy reading this book. It was good to catch up with Maysie and Jordan, and I look forward to the next book in this series. And lets face it... this is from the author that brought me Clayton Reed- and I will pretty much read anything she writes! This is one I would definitely recommend!

Review of First Position by Prescott Lane
First Position by Prescott Lane
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
* I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest review from the author*
First Position was a very well written story. The story starts out with Emory and her fiancé breaking up, she realizes that although she loves Eric, but her heart truly belongs to the one who left her because she wouldn't give up her dream of being a dancer. She goes to get food for her and her roommate, Wesly, who I love by the way, and who does she run into(literally) Mason, her ex. He knows he made a mistake when he left her, so he decides he wants to try to get her back.
Mason is married to a real BITCH, a woman who only married him to get the fame from him being in the NFL. And as soon as he was injured she wanted a divorce. Emory struggles with things from her past, and is afraid of getting involved with Mason again, because he hurt her so bad before. So they decide to take things slow.
This is where the drama starts, Mason's wife wants more money, Mason hides things from Emory, Emory is hiding something from Mason, so much stuff happens to them. But the worst of it all, was when Emory finally decided to tell Mason her secret.....I cried like a little baby over that scene. Seeing Mason all tore up, and then lashing out at her, even though clearly Emory was just as devastated as he was.
In my opinion the story was compelling, I connected with the characters, and the story was well written. My only complaint was how you got thoughts and feelings from every character in the book. Even the bartender Clive got to speak. this is the first book that I've read where you get into everybody's head. It didn't make me dislike the story, or the writing, it was just a little different than what I was used to.

Excerpt:
Brad and Scott talked for a bit as I looked around for Josh. He was talking and laughing with the DJ.
Ah, so the little bastard is going to have his hand in the romance department this evening.
Gunner reached up and handed Scott a beer as Scott sat down.
Then, Gunner turned to me. He leaned in toward me, so only I could hear him. “Does he think he stands a chance?” Gunner looked out at Josh.
I laughed. “I guess he does. This should be interesting to watch.”
Gunner and I both sat back and started to drink our beers as we watched Josh talking to the DJ.
“He’s probably asking the DJ to recommend a good song,” Gunner said with a chuckle.
Brad sat down as he started laughing. “Think so? This is gonna be good. Gotta give him props for trying though. I think I have both of y’all beat with my song.”
Gunner and I both looked at Brad as he smiled and took a sip of his Coke.
“Ari cried,” I said.
“Oh, come on, dude,” Brad said.
Scott asked, “What in the hell are y’all talking about?”
Gunner looked over at the girls and saw they were deep in conversation. “We have a little romance contest going on. Trying to see which one of us can out romance the other with our song choices.”
Scott’s mouth dropped open. “That’s fucked up, y’all. Do the girls know what you’re doing?”
At the same time, Gunner, Brad, and I all said, “No.”
Josh shook the DJ’s hand, and as he started to walk back toward us, he had a cocky-ass smile plastered on his face.
Poor guy. He really doesn’t stand a chance.
He walked right past us and up to Heather. He took her hand and pulled her up to him. “I have something special just for you,” Josh said before he kissed the back of Heather’s hand.
Gunner muttered, “Pesh,” under his breath.
Ellie smacked Gunner on the back of his head. “Knock it off.”
Just then, the DJ asked for everyone’s attention. “Listen up, y’all. I’ve had a special request from one very lucky man in the house tonight. He’s getting married in a couple days.”
Everyone started to clap and whistle.
“Ah hell,” Gunner and I said at the same time.
Brad and Scott started laughing.
“Josh, bring your beautiful future bride out onto the dance floor,” the DJ said.
Josh started leading Heather out to the dance floor. As he passed us, he smiled and winked. “Watch how it’s done, gentlemen.”
“Little bastard!” Gunner called out, earning another slap on the head from Ellie.
We watched as Josh walked Heather out to the middle of the dance floor. Her face was bright red, and when he kissed her on the cheek, all I heard were oohs and aahs. Someone handed Josh a microphone, and then he got down on one knee.
Brad, Gunner, and I all leaned forward.
“What in the hell is he doing? He can’t ask her to marry him. He’s already done that!” I said.
Ari smacked me on the shoulder. “Be quiet for Christ’s sake!”
“Holy hell, she’s already crying, and he hasn’t even started talking yet,” Brad said.
“Heather, I never in my life thought I could be as happy as I am in this very moment. The idea of spending the rest of my life with you just about brings me down to both knees. I cannot wait to make you my wife. I want to make all your dreams come true. I want to be the best husband and father to our unborn babies as I possibly can.”
Josh put his hand on her stomach and then kissed her belly as Heather brought her hand up to her mouth. He looked up at her and smiled.
“Is he crying?” Scott asked.
“Bastard,” Gunner, Brad, and I said at the same time.
“Shh!” Ellie, Amanda, and Ari said at the same time.
“Princess, I want to be your everything.” He stood up and took Heather in his arms as Keith Urban’s “Your Everything” started to play.
“Oh. My. God. If that is not the most romantic thing ever!” Ellie said.
Gunner snapped his head around and looked at her.
I was still staring out at them. They were the only two dancing as everyone stood around and watched.
“Holy hell, that just swept me off my damn feet! Heather is so lucky!” Amanda said.
Brad choked on his drink.
Ari walked around and sat on my lap. Her eyes looked like they were filling with tears as she watched them dancing.
Jesus H. Christ. Is she about to cry?
“So incredibly romantic…wow. Heather really is lucky.” She turned to me and smiled. “I think Josh won by a landslide. Don’t you think, babe?”
Scott busted out laughing as I just looked at her.
All I could do was let out a small laugh before I grabbed her and brought her in for a kiss. I pulled slightly away from her lips. “He certainly did.”
When she gave me that drop-dead beautiful smile of hers, my heart started racing.
“I love you, babe.” She captured my lips with hers.
I kissed her and poured as much love into the kiss as I could. When she ran her hands through my hair, I wanted to just rip off her clothes and take her right here and now.
Review:
My heart was really put through the wringer with Josh and Heather's story. After a car accident Josh loses his memory and thinks he is back in college and dating the bitch Victoria. And guess who happens to be his nurse...yep Victoria.
" My head was spinning. Then, I remembered the beautiful blonde who was holding my hand. The moment I looked into her eyes, my stomach had dropped."
Even though his mind couldn't remember Heather, his heart sure did. But he just wanted to start over as friends to try and get his memory back. Heather decides she is willing to do whatever it takes to help with his recovery, so she agrees with Josh even though her heart is in pieces.
Overall I give this 5 stars and CANNOT wait for Cherished! Kelly has me hooked on her books and I don't want the cure!
