I didn’t love the choice Pike made in the past and I definitely wasn’t a fan of some of Aubrey’s current choices… but I was happy with the way it turned out in the end. I love reading stories about first loves that get a second chance, even if the road to get there is a bit messy.As always, KI Lynn’s writing is fantastic. I adore her style and her stories. This one was hard hitting and brought me to tears more than once. It also really stressed me out while reading, but the end my heart was happy. If you’re a lover of second chance romances, love-triangle(ish) reads, and love the angst, pick this one up!
