I have no idea how to review this book. While I did enjoy it, I also didn't LOVE it. Something was missing. I don't quite know what it is though. While I loved Mack, there were some aspects that I didn't like. For instance, he was faithful to his girlfriend when he first met Frankie. But he was trying everything to get Frankie to pick him over her current boyfriend....who was amazing by the way! It just didn't seem to fit how their story began.
I loved the part where they first met. That was HILARIOUS! I loved how much he loved his son. I also loved how he tried to do the right thing by his wife. Penelope is an awesome story teller and I always enjoy her writing. I look forward to reading more from her!

What I liked about this book:
~ Alternating POV (my favorite way to read a story)
~ Second chance romance, forbidden love and single dad - those are a lot of great tropes rolled into one story!
In the end though, I didn't feel super connected to the characters. I look forward to her next book!
