Marrow by Tarryn Fisher Synopsis Reveal

Marrow by Tarryn Fisher

In the Bone there is a house.
In the house there is a girl.
In the girl there is a darkness.

Margo is not like other girls. She lives in a derelict neighborhood called the Bone, in a cursed house, with her cursed mother, who hasn't spoken to her in over two years. She lives her days feeling invisible. It's not until she develops a friendship with her wheelchair-bound neighbor, Judah Grant, that things begin to change. When neighborhood girl, seven-year-old Neveah Anthony, goes missing, Judah sets out to help Margo uncover what happened to her.

What Margo finds changes her, and with a new perspective on life, she's determined to find evil and punish it--targeting rapists and child molesters, one by one.

But hunting evil is dangerous, and Margo risks losing everything, including her own soul.

Tarryn's Bio--

I am a real life villain, truly. I drink sick amounts of Starbucks. Most of the time my hair smells like coffee. I was born in South Africa, and lived there for most of my childhood. I moved to Seattle just for the rain. Rome is my favorite place in the world so far, Paris comes in at a close second. I read and write more than I sleep. When I was eleven, I wrote an entire novel about runaway orphans, using only purple ink. I am addicted to Florence and the Machine and will travel to see concerts. I love scary movies and giraffes. I spend way too much time on Facebook. Meet you there?…

The Resolution of Callie & Kayden

Happy Release Day to Jessica Sorensen and her new book THE RESOLUTION OF CALLIE AND KAYDEN!
TheResolution ebooklg

Things are going good for Callie and Kayden. They’re still dealing with their past and the pain connected to it, but for the most part they’ve moved on. The biggest decision they have at the moment is what they want to do with their lives in the future.

Eventually, though, the past catches up with them and they’re left facing tough choices. But Callie and Kayden learn that as long as they have each other, they can make it through just about anything. And in the end, they discover what they really want out of life.

“She’s just being nice,” Kayden says gazing down at me. His hair is ruffled and his jawline is scruffy and he looks so happy. “And it’s nice… that she wants to be so nice... it could be worse than an overnice mother.”

“Yeah, I know.” I sigh, knowing he’s right, that it could be worse, that I could have a mother like his mother. “I just wish she’d be just a little bit less embarrassing.” I raise my hand and make a pinching gesture with my fingers. “Maybe just a teeny tiny bit.”

“Yeah, I doubt that’s ever going to happen.” Kayden slips his shirt off and chucks it aside. His jeans ride low on his hips, giving me a view of his abs and chest that is crisscrossed with scars. “I did find it funny when she kept cracking jokes all through dinner about how she thinks we’re going to end up getting married.” He kneels down on the mattress, nudging my knees open with his knees until I spread open my legs for him.

“Oh God.” Shaking my head, I cover my face with my hands. “I’m glad you find it funny because I’m sure most guys would be running for their lives.”

The mattresses moves as he leans over me and puts a hand on each side of my head. I crack my fingers apart and look at him. He’s been so much happier since he put the past behind him. He seems to breathe freer, smile more, and it’s probably the most beautiful sight I’ve ever seen. “Well, just make sure you really want this,” I say as he moves one of my hands away from my eyes.  “Because you still have time to run.”

He shakes his head, his tongue slipping out of his mouth to wet his lips. “No running here,” he whispers in a raspy voice that I know only means one thing—he wants me. “Ever.” He moves my other hand away from my face then pins my arms above my head.

A while ago, the movement would have sent my heart soaring and not in a good way. But now… well, it freaking soars like a bird high up in the sky never wanting to return to land ever. It soars because it’s free. It soars for him.

“You want me,” I tease as he leans down to kiss me.

“You’re right,” he says. “And then I want to give you your present.”

“But you already gave me my present.” I pat my pocket where the tickets to the concert are that he gave me. He said it was for a redo of a night that should have been special, but he couldn’t give it to me then, but he was ready now to give me everything I deserve—his words not mine. My mom practically fainted when he said it. And me, well I think I fell in love with Kayden even more.

“Yeah, but that one was only the first part.” He kisses me, then softly bites my bottom lip before he leans back for air. “There’s more,” he breathes against my lips, coming in for another kiss. “But you have to wait.”

“Until when?” I wonder, my heart skipping a beat as his hands wander for the button of my jeans.

“Until we’re done with this.” He gives me a wicked smile as he flicks my button undone.

Delinquents (Dusty #2) Cover Reveal

Coming: October 23, 2014

The innocent girl with a delinquent heart has to live with her bad choices. Secret hope and hurt feel like falling while she learns how to breathe again, but there's still freedom in trouble.

The runaway with blacked-out eyes is losing his grip. Crushing two hearts in one fist, his addiction bends rules and breaks deals, but the boy born for bliss isn't going anywhere without a fight.

Love is knowing they should stay away, but love is illogical at best.

She's afraid to let go.

He won't let her.

This is how silliness and foolishness grow up.

Here, forever is a lie.

I stand silent, breathing in through my nose and out my mouth. Tonight’s argument is years of frustration stacked and hidden, too tall to push away anymore. A little trigger is all it takes, and we end up like this, saying things we don’t mean, taking our aggravation out on each other.

My heart pumps misguided love.

“This isn’t how it’s supposed to be,” it beats. “But that’s your boy—aimless and crazy for you.”

Knowing that I had a role on his spiral to the bottom kills me. As his parents continue to fail him, I should be the one that steps forward and says, “This is wrong.”

But to do so at this point in his madness would be betrayal, and I have to handle his trust with care.

Inhaling an uneven breath, I watch him under the moon’s glow washing out his already pale complexion. Icy wind blows my boy’s white tee against his slender body under his unzipped hoodie, and his hands shake at his sides.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4-4.5 stars!

I was a little hesitant to jump into Silent Whisper. Paranormal is something I like to read every now and then, but I don’t like scary books. At all. But after I read it, I was glad I did. To be honest, I forgot Silent Whisper was a paranormal book from the first 10%- to about 71%. I was so caught up in the story of the past, the other elements just left my mind. Andrea is that type of story teller. Her writing is always consistently good and engaging.

This is another one of those stories where you want to stay away from spoilers. You just want to be surprised by the twists.

It was about a 27 year old girl named Parrish Locke who goes through a life changing experience. But more than that, it is a timeless love story between Dominic and Karlie.

I actually loved 10-70% best. The beginning and end were good too, but there were a few elements that threw me off a bit. Don’t get me wrong, I really loved the story and the characters. In fact, I stayed up way too late finishing this one because once I hit about 40% I could not put it down until I was finished.

I loved Karlie and Dominic’s love story. It wasn’t conventional. But it was still a beautiful and forbidden romance.

Silent Whisper was a very original concept and I loved that there was always an element of mystery, some twists and turns. The paranormal aspect is not the largest part of this story. I really hope people realize that. It has a part here or there that might seem a little on the creepy side, but it’s not scary at all. I think thats important to point out because I don’t do scary AT ALL. As I said before, I was nervous to add this to my TBR in fear that it would be scary, but it’s not. So don’t let that deter you from reading.

Out of all the elements of this story, the main thing it centered around was an eternal love. A forever, once in a life time kind of love. If you’re looking for a unique love story with lots of mystery, suspense, heat and a little paranormal flare thrown in, you’ve found your next read!
“I loved you like I’ve loved no one else… ever. You are my heart- and my soul, but most importantly- you are my eternal love.”
